Other Case Study Resources
The International Planning Case Studies (IPCS) project is a collaboration between the University of Michigan and University of Colorado Denver to address one of the key challenges for international development planning educators: connecting classroom learning to the realities of professional practice. This case library provides 15 teaching cases based on the experiences of real-world international planning practitioners and action researchers, in areas like food policy planning, infrastructure, transportation, humanitarian assistance, and climate change adaptation.
The Indian Institute for Human Settlements Re-framing Urban Inclusion is a freely available set of teaching and learning cases from India and elsewhere in the Global South. The growing library includes cases on topics like housing, governance, and urban economy. While the form of the cases vary, each one includes a preface, teaching note, main case, pedagogical possibilities, and a repository of documents.
