Andrew Wang wins the Best Student Paper Award from GPEIG

Andrew Wang, who earned his Doctor of Sustainable Urbanism from Washington University in St. Louis, was awarded the Best Student Paper Award from GPEIG for his article “Examining the Impact of In-Situ Infrastructural Upgrading on Sustainability in Informal Settlements: The Case of Accra, Ghana.” Wang is currently the Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Institute on Municipal Finance and Governance at the University of Toronto.

The Best Student Paper Award is an annual prize given by the Global Planning Educators Interest Group. The winner is chosen by a committee of planning researchers and former award winners, and is recognized at the annual ACSP conference.
